I'm sick of spambots posting porn on the message board! So I'm upgrading it to the latest version. I'm also going to remove all members with 0 posts and any suspected spammers. If you've signed up to the forums but haven't posted yet or if I wrongly identify you as a spammer, sorry! - You'll have to sign up again.

2005 web awards results, finally!
Oh my days, its been a long time. Sorry about that. I'd hate to bore you with the reason why there havn't been any updates for nearly half a year, so I won't. The important thing is that SBW is back..again. To start, I shall bless you with the long awaited results from the 2005 web awards, that took place earlier this year. This'll probably be no surprise, but I'm hoping the fancy graphics will keep you preoccupied. For my next trick, I shall be re-doing the information page to reflect the current state of the board market. Until then, send me your pics and videos.

Dimension streetboards have just posted a 60MB video of highlights from the world streetboard championships 2005, which were held in Lyon, France. Check it out now!

Highland announce first streetboard event of 2006
The Aviemore mountain film festival takes place on the 3rd and 4th of march 2006 in the Highlands of Scotland and will feature a streetboard "big air" competition. As you can probably guess, this will involve some kind of big air inducing lanuch ramp from which you will see a number of the worlds best streetboard riders performing trickery, the likes of which you may have never seen before.
The actual streetboard event will take place on saturday the 4th of march and Highland streetboards will be showcasing their 2006 board line up. You can find more information on the Highland and AMFF websites.

Merry Christmas!
Left for Dead is finally out! It's available from Flipside at £16.99. If you need a reason to buy it, watch this. UK nationals, neobrain bindings and dimension news
The UK nationals rocked, probably the best yet. If you didn't go, you missed seeing a load of pro riders from all over europe bust some amazing skills. As posted on the forums, the new neobrain bindings were being showcased. There are some pictures posted in the same thread.
streetboardweb has recently heard from dimension that the new 2006 line of boards will be packaged with grip tape and a poster of Gotthard Pilsner. The grip tape won't be stuck onto the board, just packaged with it - in case you do want it.

Dimension board line 2006
If you haven't already seen, check out dimension's 2006 board line in the forums here. We've added a new banner to the media section, please use this if you would like to link to streetboardweb. Otherwise take a look at the updated UK nationals flyer. If you haven't already done so, sort out your transport! This event is going to be the best yet and is going to have loads of pro riders including Christian Schneider and Kai Hammen as well as Chris Reiche from Team Highland Germany. "Left for Dead" - see the new video preview
Check out the new preview from Dimension's up and comming video "Left for Dead". Download from the dimension site or from streetboard web. We've also heard that the new dimension board (the "Warlord") is going to have slick bar as well as plates. Good news if you ask me.

First Warlord pictures emerge
Check this out. Here you see a picture of Dimension's new board, the 'Warlord' shown on a Dimension stand at a trade show recently. In summary, the plates are pretty much the same shape as the AS2, the bar is wider (and slick) and the trucks, well polished ;)

UK National Chanpionships
The event will be held at Epic in Birmingham on Saturday 5th November. This looks set to be an awesome event with a load of pro riders turning up. Do your bit and haul your ass up there. It is going to rock.

Vertical Rider World Streetboard Championships 2005
The event will be held in Lyon at the Gerland skatepark on the 8th, 9th and 10th of December. See the official event site at http://www.lyon-streetboard.com for more information.

The Dimenison website has been re-designed and looks awesome. Check it out here. Although streetboarding.com and dimensionboards.com are similar, I personally prefer the dimension site. Just seems at bit cleaner, better structured and easier to use. Vote here for your favourite ;)

*EXCLUSIVE* We have received a few rumors that Dimension is working on a new board. No details yet but we have gone straight to the source for a response. We'll keep you posted.

We've re-launched our media section! Check it out, we have new pictures and videos. Streetboard Web is now trying to be your online source for all media on the internet. If you have any cool pictures or videos, send them in (or e-mail us to let us know where to download them). The full length video of Frontal's Fisch is now available for download. The file is a massive 355mb, so we're only making it available for download on request. We've had a whole bunch of requests for this already so if you have already e-mailed us, please be patient, we will get round to you! See the media section for more info.

New website! Check out www.streetboarding.com! This site looks amazing and kind of puts streetboard web to shame. Anyway, it looks like it is going to replace streetboarder.com as the main streetboarding website...and rightly so!

Welcome to the new look streetboard web. Although it's not completely finished yet, I'm working on it! - I haven't even decided where to put the menu yet!!! So, Until I sort the design out, the website will just be this pretty front page. You can access the old site here and the forums here.

The new highland Streetboard is now out at Flipside. The board features all new Mercury trucks, blue paint job with Highland graphics, longer crossbar and some differences in shape from the AS2. All in all, it looks like a good solid board.

The Max Power Live demo (http://www.maxpower.co.uk/) went off! Raised in a cage for 2 days busting huge airs and grinds on the worst mini ever built. Tons of ladies wearing...well, not much! Needless to say the stand (JBL - Home and Car Audio company - http://www.jbl.com/) won the best stand in the show.
